أكدت الفنانة المصرية إيمي سمير غانم أنها لا تفكر في الزواج حاليًا ولكنها لا تستبعد الفكرة وخاصة أنها تريد تكوين أسرة. ولكن تتزوج فى حالة واحدة . وضعت بعض الشروط لاختيار شريك حياتها، حيث تريد شخص متدين ويحبها ويحترم أسرتها، ولكن قبل كل ذلك اشترطت إيمي أن يكون محبًا للكلاب. الفنانة الشابة من عشاق تربية الكلاب، وقد ذكرت في لقاء سابق لها مع الإعلامية هالة سرحان أنها دخلت في حالة اكتئاب عندما مات كلبها، وأنها لم تعد تتصور مع كلابها لأنها تخاف عليهم من الحسد.
