في مخالفة للبروتوكول والأعراف الدبلوماسية بين الدول؛ قام رئيس الوزراء الإيطالي، ماتيور نزي، بتجاهل كلمة قائد الانقلاب عبد الفتاح السيسي في المؤتمر المشترك، وظل يعبث بهاتفه - بينما "السيسي" يتحدث - دون أي مراعاة لكلمته. بل وتجاوز الأمر العبث في الهاتف؛ ليقوم رئيس وزراء إيطاليا بالنظر خلفه غير مبالٍ بكلمة قائد الانقلاب.
