الفنان ماهر عصام يجري حالياً عملية دقيقة بالمخ ، في مستشفى دار الفؤاد ، بعد أن تدهورت حالته الصحية مساء يوم الجمعة ، واضطر الطبيب المعالج ان يجري له تلك العملية بأسرع وقت لإنقاذ حالته الصحية ، ومازال ماهر متواجد بغرفة العمليات حاليا ، وأصدقاءه ينتظرون ويدعون له بالشفاء حتى يطمئنوا على صحته. كما يذكر أن الفنان ماهر كان قد فاق من غيبوبته مؤخراً وتعافى بعض الشئ بعد اجراءه لعملية قسطرة لوقف النزيف بالمخ ، لكن الحالة تدهورت بشكل مفاجئ دون معرفة السبب حتى الآن.
