قال الرئيس الأسبق محمد حسنى مبارك ، إنه عندما سمع بالحكم الأول "ضحك"، مضيفاً خلال مداخلة هاتفية لبرنامج "صدى البلد" مع الإعلامى "أحمد موسى" ،أنه كان ينتظر الحكم الثانى، مؤكداً أنه لم تكن سيفرق معه أى شىء. وأضاف "مبارك" خلال المداخلة أنه لم يرتكب أى جريمة على الإطلاق.
