ظهر ضابط شرطة برتبة رائد في شارع فيصل، صباح الجمعة، مرتديًا «قناع الجمجمة»، خلال استعداداته للتصدي لمظاهرات 28 نوفمبر، التي دعت إليها الجبهة السلفية تحت اسم «انتفاضة الشباب المسلم». و في سؤال عن عن سبب ارتدائه «قناع الجمجمة»، أجاب لاحدى المراسلات باقتضاب: «اشتريت الـmask من برة بـ150 دولارا لحماية نفسي من الخرطوش».
